Winter Crockpot Comfort Meal

A cozy winter crockpot meal made with tender protein, hearty vegetables, and rich slow-cooked flavors. Perfect for cold days, busy schedules, and comforting family dinners.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 ½ lbs protein of choice chicken thighs, beef chuck, or turkey
  • 2 cups hearty vegetables carrots, potatoes, onions, or squash
  • 2 cups broth chicken or vegetable, low sodium
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp dried herbs thyme or rosemary
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Lightly grease the slow cooker with olive oil.
  2. Place protein at the bottom of the slow cooker.
  3. Add vegetables evenly on top.
  4. Sprinkle garlic, herbs, salt, and pepper over the ingredients.
  5. Pour broth evenly over everything.
  6. Cover and cook on LOW for 6–8 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours, until tender.
  7. Taste and adjust seasoning before serving.
