Slow Cooker Honey Garlic Pork Chops

Tender pork chops slow-cooked in a sweet and savory honey garlic sauce. This easy crockpot dinner is comforting, flavorful, and perfect for busy weeknights or stress-free family meals.

Ingredients

  • Main
  • 4 thick-cut pork chops boneless or bone-in
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Honey Garlic Sauce
  • ½ cup honey
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • cup soy sauce or low-sodium
  • ¼ cup chicken broth or water
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup optional, for depth
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar or rice vinegar
  • Optional Thickener
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch + 1 tablespoon water

Method

  1. Season the pork chops lightly with salt and pepper and place them in the slow cooker.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together honey, garlic, soy sauce, broth, ketchup, and vinegar. Pour the sauce over the pork chops, making sure they’re well coated.
  3. Cover and cook on low until the pork chops are tender and cooked through.
  4. For a thicker sauce, remove the pork chops and transfer the sauce to a saucepan. Simmer with the cornstarch slurry until thickened, then pour over the pork before serving.

Notes

Thicker pork chops stay juicier during slow cooking.
Searing the pork before slow cooking adds extra flavor (optional).
Adjust sweetness by reducing honey slightly if preferred.
