Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 lb breakfast sausage
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: diced bell peppers spinach, jalapeños, or green onions

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment.
  2. Cook the sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned and crumbled. Drain excess grease.
  3. In another pan, melt butter and scramble the eggs gently until just set. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Combine the cooked sausage, scrambled eggs, and shredded cheese in a bowl.
  5. Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into triangles.
  6. Place a spoonful of filling on the wide end of each triangle and roll tightly toward the tip.
  7. Arrange roll-ups on the baking sheet, seam-side down.
  8. Bake 10–12 minutes, or until golden brown and fully cooked.
  9. Serve warm and enjoy!
