Hot Italian Sub Sliders

These Hot Italian Sub Sliders are loaded with ham, salami, pepperoni, and provolone, all baked inside buttery Hawaiian rolls for the ultimate cheesy, crowd-pleasing appetizer or weeknight dinner.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 package 12-count Hawaiian rolls
  • 8 –10 slices deli ham
  • 8 –10 slices salami
  • 8 –10 slices pepperoni
  • 8 slices provolone cheese
  • 1/4 cup banana peppers optional
  • 3 tablespoons Italian dressing
  • For the Topping:
  • 4 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon grated parmesan
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking dish or sheet pan with parchment paper.
  2. Without separating the rolls, slice the entire slab horizontally to create a top and bottom layer.
  3. Place the bottom layer on the baking pan. Layer the ham, salami, pepperoni, banana peppers (optional), and provolone cheese evenly.
  4. Drizzle the Italian dressing over the meat and cheese layers.
  5. Place the top layer of rolls back on.
  6. In a small bowl, mix melted butter, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, parmesan, and red pepper flakes.
  7. Brush the butter mixture generously over the tops of the sliders.
  8. Cover the pan loosely with foil and bake for 12 minutes.
  9. Remove foil and bake an additional 4–5 minutes until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  10. Let cool for 3 minutes, then slice and serve warm.

Notes

• Add onions, roasted red peppers, or extra cheese for more flavor.
• For a spicier version, use pepper jack cheese or add chopped jalapeños.
• These sliders reheat well in the oven or air fryer.
• Great for parties, game day, potlucks, or quick family dinners.
• Substitute meats as desired: turkey, capicola, soppressata, or mortadella.
