Honey Butter Chicken

Crispy fried chicken tossed in a rich honey butter sauce that’s sweet, savory, and incredibly comforting. Perfect for weeknight dinners or special meals.

Ingredients
  

  • For the Chicken:
  • 500 g boneless chicken thighs or breast cut into bite-size pieces
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • Oil for frying
  • For the Honey Butter Sauce:
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • Optional: chili flakes or black pepper

Method
 

  1. Pat the chicken dry and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Coat chicken evenly with cornstarch.
  3. Heat oil in a pan and fry chicken until golden and crispy. Remove and drain.
  4. In another pan, melt butter over low heat.
  5. Add garlic and cook briefly until fragrant.
  6. Stir in honey and soy sauce until smooth and glossy.
  7. Add crispy chicken and toss quickly to coat.
  8. Serve immediately.

Notes

• Fry in batches to keep chicken crispy.
• Toss chicken in sauce just before serving.
• Add chili flakes for a spicy version.
• Reheat in a pan or air fryer for best texture.
