Method
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart. Drain excess fat.
- Add onion and cook until softened. Stir in garlic and cook 30 seconds.
- Add broccoli florets and sauté 2–3 minutes.
- Pour in beef broth and soy sauce. Stir in brown sugar and sesame oil.
- Add cornstarch slurry and simmer until sauce thickens.
- Cook until broccoli is tender-crisp. Adjust seasoning and serve hot.
Notes
Do not overcook broccoli to keep it vibrant.
Adjust sweetness or saltiness to taste.
