Garlic Butter Steak Bites

Juicy, tender steak bites seared to perfection and tossed in rich garlic butter. A quick, flavorful, and satisfying dish perfect for weeknight dinners, appetizers, or meal prep.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs steak sirloin, ribeye, or NY strip, cut into cubes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika optional
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice optional

Method

  1. Pat steak cubes dry and season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  2. Heat olive oil in a cast iron skillet over high heat.
  3. Add steak in a single layer (work in batches). Sear 1–2 minutes per side until browned.
  4. Remove steak and reduce heat to medium.
  5. Add butter to the skillet; once melted, stir in garlic until fragrant.
  6. Return steak bites to the pan and toss in the garlic butter.
  7. Add parsley and lemon juice if desired.
  8. Serve immediately with potatoes, rice, or vegetables.

Notes

• Drying the steak ensures a perfect sear.
• Don’t overcrowd the pan—steak will steam instead of brown.
• Add chili flakes for heat or a splash of cream for a richer sauce.
• Steak bites pair well with mashed potatoes, rice, or roasted veggies.
