Easy Crockpot Chicken Gravy Dinner

A simple, comforting crockpot chicken dinner cooked slowly in rich gravy. Tender chicken, minimal prep, and an easy one-pot meal perfect for busy days and cozy family dinners.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts or thighs
  • 2 packets chicken gravy mix
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Optional: 1 tablespoon butter for extra richness

Method
 

  1. Place the chicken in the bottom of the crockpot.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the gravy mix and chicken broth until smooth.
  3. Pour the gravy mixture over the chicken.
  4. Sprinkle garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper on top.
  5. Cover and cook on LOW for 6–7 hours or on HIGH for 3–4 hours.
  6. Once cooked, gently stir the chicken into the gravy.
  7. Serve warm over your favorite side dishes.

Notes

• Chicken thighs can be used for extra tenderness.
• Add a tablespoon of butter at the end for richer gravy.
• If gravy is too thick, stir in a little extra broth.
• Shred the chicken for a pulled-style texture if desired.
