Ingredients
  

  • 4 salmon fillets about 6 oz each
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs or panko
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • Salt & black pepper to taste
  • Optional herbs: parsley thyme, or dill
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Pat salmon fillets dry and place them skin-side down on the baking sheet. Season lightly with salt and pepper.
  3. In a bowl, mix Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic, lemon zest, olive oil, and herbs.
  4. Spoon the mixture evenly over the salmon fillets, pressing gently to adhere.
  5. Bake for 12–15 minutes, until salmon is cooked through.
  6. Broil for 1–2 minutes to achieve a golden, crispy crust.
  7. Remove from oven and rest for 2 minutes. Serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

Use freshly grated Parmesan for best flavor and crispness.
Watch closely under the broiler to avoid burning.
