Crispy Air-Fried Halloumi with Honey Drizzle

Golden, crispy halloumi made in the air fryer and finished with a warm honey drizzle. This quick sweet-and-salty recipe delivers bold flavor, irresistible texture, and a restaurant-style bite using just a few simple ingredients.

Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz halloumi cheese sliced evenly
  • Olive oil spray or light olive oil brushing
  • 2 –3 tablespoons honey to taste
  • Optional: black pepper chili flakes, fresh herbs

Method
 

  1. Slice the halloumi into even pieces and gently pat dry with paper towels.
  2. Preheat the air fryer for a few minutes.
  3. Lightly brush or spray both sides of the halloumi with olive oil.
  4. Place the slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket, leaving space between them.
  5. Air fry until golden and crisp, flipping halfway through for even browning.
  6. Transfer the hot halloumi to a plate and immediately drizzle with honey.
  7. Add optional seasoning if desired and serve right away.

Notes

Do not overcrowd the air fryer; cook in batches if needed.
Add honey only after cooking to avoid burning.
Best enjoyed fresh for maximum crispiness.
