Chicken Caesar Sandwich

A quick, flavorful, and satisfying sandwich inspired by the classic Caesar salad. Filled with tender chicken tossed in creamy Caesar dressing, crisp romaine lettuce, shaved Parmesan, and layered inside toasted bread for the perfect handheld meal.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups cooked chicken shredded or chopped
  • 1/3 cup Caesar dressing
  • 1/4 cup shaved Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup chopped romaine lettuce
  • 2 –4 slices of bread or 2 sandwich rolls
  • 1 tablespoon butter optional, for toasting
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional add-ins:
  • - Crispy bacon strips
  • - Sliced tomatoes
  • - Avocado slices
  • - Red onion
  • - Chili flakes

Method
 

  1. In a bowl, mix the chicken with Caesar dressing until well coated.
  2. Toast the bread lightly; spread butter or garlic butter if desired.
  3. Layer chicken mixture onto the bread.
  4. Add shaved Parmesan and romaine lettuce.
  5. Add optional toppings such as bacon, tomato, or avocado.
  6. Close the sandwich and press gently.
  7. Slice and serve immediately.

Notes

• Rotisserie chicken works great for this recipe.
• Add extra dressing for a creamier sandwich.
• Keep lettuce out until serving to maintain crunch.
• Use ciabatta, brioche, or sourdough for a more gourmet texture.
