Bang Bang Chicken

Crispy chicken bites tossed in a creamy, sweet-and-spicy Bang Bang sauce. Perfect as a main dish, appetizer, or crowd-pleasing comfort meal.

Ingredients
  

  • For the Chicken:
  • 500 g boneless chicken breast or thighs cut into bite-size pieces
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • Oil for frying
  • For the Bang Bang Sauce:
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 –2 tsp sriracha adjust to taste
  • Optional: 1 tsp rice vinegar or lime juice

Method
 

  1. Pat the chicken dry and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Coat chicken pieces evenly with cornstarch.
  3. Heat oil in a deep pan and fry chicken in batches until golden and crispy. Remove and drain.
  4. In a bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, honey, and sriracha until smooth.
  5. Add crispy chicken to a large bowl and toss gently with the sauce until fully coated.
  6. Serve immediately for best texture.

Notes

• Fry in small batches to keep the chicken crispy.
• Toss chicken in sauce just before serving.
• Adjust sweetness or heat by adding more honey or sriracha.
• For a lighter version, air-fry or bake the chicken.
