Method
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Unroll croissant dough and separate into triangles.
- Spread a thin layer of Dijon mustard on each triangle (optional).
- Place ham and shredded cheese at the wide end of each triangle.
- Roll dough from the wide end toward the tip to form croissants.
- Whisk egg with milk or water and brush over croissants.
- Bake for 15–18 minutes until golden brown and cheese is melted.
- Cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Avoid overfilling to prevent cheese leakage.
Best served warm for optimal texture and flavor.
