Ingredients

  • 4 large potatoes Russet or Yukon Gold
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced (or 1½ tsp garlic powder)
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika or Italian seasoning
  • Fresh parsley chopped (optional)

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 220°C / 425°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Wash and dry the potatoes, then cut them into even wedges.
  3. In a large bowl, toss the potato wedges with olive oil, garlic, salt, pepper, paprika, and Parmesan cheese.
  4. Arrange the wedges in a single layer on the baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 35–40 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
  6. Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh parsley if desired, and serve hot.

Notes

For extra crispiness, avoid overcrowding the baking sheet.
Freshly grated Parmesan gives the best texture and flavor.
