Air Fryer Gnocchi (Crispy Outside, Tender Inside)

This air fryer gnocchi is crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and incredibly easy to make. No boiling required — just toss, air fry, and enjoy a quick side dish, snack, or base for sauces with amazing texture.

Ingredients
  

  • 16 oz shelf-stable or refrigerated gnocchi
  • 1 –2 tablespoons olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon salt adjust to taste
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder optional
  • ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning or black pepper optional

Method
 

  1. Pat the gnocchi dry with paper towels to remove surface moisture.
  2. Place gnocchi in a bowl and drizzle with olive oil. Toss until evenly coated.
  3. Add salt and any optional seasonings, tossing again to distribute evenly.
  4. Preheat the air fryer for a few minutes.
  5. Arrange gnocchi in a single layer in the air fryer basket, leaving space between pieces.
  6. Air fry until golden and crisp, shaking or flipping halfway through.
  7. Remove from the air fryer, adjust seasoning if needed, and serve immediately.

Notes

Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket; cook in batches if necessary.
Best served right away for maximum crispiness.
Add sauces or cheese after cooking, not before.
