Air Fryer Crispy Crab Rangoon

Crispy on the outside with a creamy, savory center, these air fryer crab rangoons deliver classic takeout flavor without deep frying. Light, crunchy, and easy to make, they’re perfect for parties, game nights, or a quick appetizer at home.

Ingredients
  

  • Imitation crab meat or real crab meat finely chopped
  • Cream cheese fully softened
  • Green onions thinly sliced
  • Garlic powder or minced garlic
  • Wonton wrappers
  • Neutral oil spray or brush
  • Optional: soy sauce Worcestershire sauce, or sweet chili sauce for added flavor

Method
 

  1. In a bowl, mix softened cream cheese, chopped crab meat, green onions, and garlic until smooth and well combined.
  2. Place wonton wrappers on a clean surface and add a small spoonful of filling to the center of each.
  3. Lightly moisten the edges with water, fold, and press firmly to seal.
  4. Lightly brush or spray the assembled rangoons with oil.
  5. Preheat the air fryer briefly, then arrange rangoons in a single layer with space between them.
  6. Cook until golden and crispy, flipping halfway through for even browning.
  7. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Do not overfill the wrappers to prevent bursting.
Seal edges tightly to keep the filling inside.
Best enjoyed fresh, but reheats well in the air fryer.
