Ingredients
  

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts (6–8 oz each)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or avocado oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika smoked or sweet
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon salt adjust to taste
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Method
 

  1. Pat chicken breasts dry with paper towels. Pound gently to even thickness (about ½–¾ inch) if uneven.
  2. In a small bowl, mix olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Rub the seasoning mixture evenly over both sides of each breast.
  4. Preheat air fryer to 375°F for 3–5 minutes.
  5. Place chicken in a single layer in the basket (cook in batches if needed).
  6. Air fry 15–20 minutes, flipping halfway with tongs.
  7. Check internal temperature reaches 165°F in the thickest part.
  8. Remove and let rest 5 minutes before slicing or serving.

Notes

Pound to even thickness for uniform cooking and juiciness.
Always use a meat thermometer—pull at 160°F and rest to reach 165°F safely.
Don’t overcrowd; cook in batches for best results.
Resting 5 minutes keeps juices inside.
Customize seasoning: add cayenne for heat or lemon zest for brightness.
