Ingredients
Method
- Pat chicken breasts dry with paper towels. Pound gently to even thickness (about ½–¾ inch) if uneven.
- In a small bowl, mix olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Rub the seasoning mixture evenly over both sides of each breast.
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F for 3–5 minutes.
- Place chicken in a single layer in the basket (cook in batches if needed).
- Air fry 15–20 minutes, flipping halfway with tongs.
- Check internal temperature reaches 165°F in the thickest part.
- Remove and let rest 5 minutes before slicing or serving.
Notes
Pound to even thickness for uniform cooking and juiciness.
Always use a meat thermometer—pull at 160°F and rest to reach 165°F safely.
Don’t overcrowd; cook in batches for best results.
Resting 5 minutes keeps juices inside.
Customize seasoning: add cayenne for heat or lemon zest for brightness.
